Lareka recently embarked on an exciting journey, attending two prominent events in the chocolate industry – ProSweets in Cologne and Chocoa in Amsterdam. The experiences at these events not only enriched Lareka's understanding of chocolate machinery but also provided a platform to engage with customers and showcase our commitment to sustainable packaging.

ProSweets: Exploring the Pinnacle of Chocolate Machinery

In the bustling halls of ProSweets in Cologne, Lareka delved into the forefront of chocolate machinery innovations. The event served as an opportunity to connect with industry leaders, explore emerging technologies, and gain insights into the evolving needs of chocolate manufacturers worldwide.

Chocoa: A Showcase of Sustainability and Innovation

Transitioning from ProSweets to Chocoa in Amsterdam, Lareka had the honor of not only participating but also taking center stage to share expertise. At Chocoa, one of the world's premier Bean-to-Bar events, Lareka proudly presented an overview of sustainable packaging materials. During Lareka's presentation on sustainable packaging, we emphasized the importance of responsible practices in the chocolate industry. We also brought multiple real-life examples of chocolate bars wrapped in sustainable packaging materials. One of the brands only utilizes nanomaterials making it significantly easier to recycle the packaging while the other brands wrap their bars in biodegradable materials as there is limited recycling infrastructure in their area.

The engagement at Chocoa consisted of more than presentations, as Lareka had the privilege of interacting with customers and enthusiasts alike.
